2007 Festival Highlights
- Creative and artistic re-use with
The Scrap Exchange
- Exploration of our local plants and animals with The
Schoolhouse of Wonder and The Museum of Life and Science.
- An Energy Efficient & Alternative Fuel Vehicles Section, featuring the latest in "green" vehicle technology, including gas-electric hybrids and natural gas vehicles.
- The Triangle Procession of the Species will bring together community members to celebrate our relationship with the natural world and with each other during this fun, artistic pageant.
- In the City of Durham Services Tent, festival-goers can learn about City Services that relate to the environment and can even buy water-efficient showerheads or exchange their showerheads for FREE water and money saving alternatives!

Participating in the 2008 Festival
Attention Organizations and Artists! You have the opportunity to have a booth at the festival (10’ x 10’ space) and to provide important educational information to our community while giving your group significant public exposure, raising funds, or marketing your products/artwork.
To participate in this year’s festival, please complete the registration form and return it with your registration fee (made payable to the City of Durham) by March 28, 2008.
